Narraka – Iconoclast [REVIEW]

Genre: Deathcore
Narraka’s debut single for 2013, “Iconoclast” is one heavy blast of deathcore. It is roughly three minutes and 50 seconds, which I think is about the correct length for a song. This song has some minor differences compared to their previous work, the biggest difference is that it sounds a lot more technical now. It also a very upbeat tempo, well placed breakdowns, the vocal range matches the rhythm of the song very well too.
There is a subtle break break 2:10 to 2:20, which then goes into some low screams by Timothy, then soon thereafter a large breakdown happens, which makes your bop to the sound of the guitar chugs by Daniel. “Iconoclast” ends with a rhythmic sound, and all the instruments are in sync completely. Overall, this single is great, and it has everything you could want in a deathcore song. “Iconoclast” leaves you wanting more, and I can’t wait for what Narraka has in store for their fans in 2013.
Single Score: 4.8 / 5
