Lorna Shore’s Debut Album Psalms Drops Today

Quickly rising to the top of the deathcore scene, Lorna Shore, with their anti-religion lyricism and technical deathcore instrumentals, releases their new album Psalms today through Density Records!

Psalms was produced by Will Putney (Thy Art Is Murder, Fit For An Autopsy, Upon A Burning Body) at modern metal’s iconic studio, the Machine Shop.

Lorna Shore will celebrate the release of their debut at a show in Los Angeles tonight with Deicide, Hate Eternal, and Black Crown Initiate. This year the band has performed at three festivals (SXSW, South By So What!?! and the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival) and has toured with Fallujah, Archspire, Oceano, The Last Ten Seconds of Life, Carnifex, The Black Dahlia Murder, Within The Ruins and more.

Lorna Shore – Tom Barber (vocals), Adam De Micco (guitar), Connor Deffley (guitar) Gary Herrera (bass), and Austin Archey (drums) – has a highly individualized take on deathcore.  Their unique signature aesthetic spans death metal, black metal, power metal, and progressive rock for a style that encompasses brutal breakdowns, dazzling technical passages, white-knuckle-ride dynamics, and rich textured moments. Since 2010, the quintet has released two critically acclaimed EPs – including their breakout release, Maleficium – each one garnering more rave reviews and fan engagement than the last.
