Interview with Reflections

Band: Reflections
Facebook: Reflections
Genre: Progressive Deathcore / Djent
Q: Where does your band name originate from?

A: Reflecting on events in your life. Not mirrors!

Q: Why did you choose to play the genre of music that you play?

A: It just kind of came naturally to all of us. We all love the music that we play and it’s just what feels right for us.

Q: Who are your influences?

A: We all have our own influences… ranging from Gojira to bands like August Burns Red, and even some of the up and coming artists likes Structures.

Q: Who is your favorite musical artist, that is not the same genre as your band?

A: Very hard to say that. SO many amazing artists in the world we really couldn’t just pick one.

Q: Do you enjoy local shows more, or touring more?

A: We love playing at home just as much as we love meeting new people. <3

Q: How does/did your family and friends feel about the type of music you play?

A: They are all very proud of us for what we are doing, and it’s a great feeling.

Q: If you had a choice to play in any band in the world, broken up or not; what band would it be?

A: If we got the chance to be Pantera, that would be awesome.

Q: What is your opinion on illegally downloading music?

A: As long as you dig it and show your friends! And make it out to our shows. <3
Q: Any back up plan(s) if being a musician doesn’t work out?

A: We all want to be involved in music for the rest of our lives. Schooling for audio production would probably be the next step.

Q: Any people, companies, or bands you would like to give a shout out to?

A: Everyone who has supported us over these past couple years. Horizon Clothing, Sleep Terror, I am Attire, Crimson Management and the awesome bands we have toured with so far. Veil of Maya, After the Burial, Periphery, Within the Ruins, The Faceless, Cannibal Corpse, Cerebral Bore, The Contortionist and more! <3
