Interview with Nothing Personal!

Genre(s): Melodic Hardcore / Metalcore
PSAB: Why did you choose the band name “Nothing Personal” for your band? Does the name who any special significance to one of the band members?
NP: Hmm… “Nothing Personal” was a fickle finger of fate. Our drummer and guitarist were sitting in front of the computer and was thinking about band’s name. There was no ideas and one of them just said, “fuck.. maybe nothing personal?”, rest of the band said, “yeah, why not” and that’s the end of the story. There are no any special meaning and anything like that. It was just an idea and we left that name because we are still thinking it’s quite good.

PSAB: Your single, “Blame Me” came out in 2013. How was the feedback for that, and when can we expect new music?

NP: Yes. We dropped our new single “Blame Me” about a week ago and feedback was really good. We are really happy that lots of people like our music. When can we expect new music? We would really like to make an EP this spring but I think that we need more time to make it real.

PSAB: You’re currently looking for a record label to be signed to. Any record labels in mind you would like to be signed to?

NP: We are still looking for a label, that’s right and we held talks with some labels but it’s too early to say anything about. We have dreams about singing to Sumerian Records for example of Epitaph, Fearless, Rise, or smaller like We Are Triumphant but maybe someday dreams will come true.

PSAB: You’re endorsed by Slices & Dices Clothing. How has the experience been being endorsed by them?

NP: It’s really cool thing to cooperate with them. They are making really great clothes and not so expensive. We have few t-shirts from them, we are performing on stage with them and there are no problems at present and hope there won’t be any problems. If you have a moment please take a look at their Facebook page,  like, share, and buy their clothes because it’s really cool stuff!

PSAB: How is the local metal scene in Zeilona Gora, Poland?

NP: In our opinion our local scene is really strong and going to be stronger. We have really bands, there are so many new and young bands so it’s going on the next/high level. It’s really cool thing that many of awesome gigs are coming to Zielona Gora, not only to bigger cities.

PSAB: Do you have any shout outs to give to your fans?

NP: We would really like to thank all our fans for support and invite you to our gigs in 2014. This year it’s going to be amazing so I hope we will see you on our gigs. Wish you all the best and see you son!
