Dan Watson Rejoins Infant Annihilator

To give a brief summary of Infant Annihilator. They formed in 2012, composing of Dan Watson, Aaaron Kitcher and Eddie Pickard. They soon released their highly praised album The Palpable Leprosy of Pollution in December of 2012 through Total Deathcore.

Two years later, Dan Watson announced that he was leaving the band, and quickly started his own band, Enterprise Earth (who then released an EP in 2014, a full length in 2015, and another in 2017). Another two years later, Dickie Allen of Misanthropic Tyrant, and co-vocalist of Dealey Plaza on The Masonic Diaries, replaced Watson.

With their new vocalist, Infant Annihilator soon teased then released (finally) a new album in 2016, The Elysian Grandeval Galèriarch.

But now… Dan Watson has announced (seen below) he will be returning to Infant Annihilator, alongside Dickie Allen as vocalist.

When I left the band, I didn’t feel like an equal to Aaron or Eddie. People thought of them when they thought of the band, and I felt like I was in their shadow. But it’s been a few years, we’ve both grown as musicians and people, and I believe now that the time is right to make this announcement.

As of today, I will be rejoining Infant Annihilator and Dickie, Aaron, Eddie, and myself will be diligently working on a new full length album, set to release in late 2018. Although it’s not set in stone, we have plenty of guest vocalists already wanting  to be a part of the album, like Ian Scott, Mike Greenwood, Alex Teyen, and several others.

So be on the lookout in 2018! And make sure to check out my band’s new album, Embodiment, set to release on April 14, 2017 through Stay Sick!
